What do the colors mean on the Temperature Cable?Updated 10 months ago
- The red wire measures heat like a hot water pipe.
- The blue wire measures colder temperatures like a color water pipe. If installed on a water heater, please attach the sensor as far away from the tank as possible to ensure temperature accuracy.
- The black cable is used to either measure the temperature of your water heater tank or the exhaust temperature from your water heater (depending on the model of your water heater.)
